Açaí Bowl Boost

You’ve probably noticed that açaí bowls are the current trending health food! Açaí is a berry from Brazil that’s very versatile. Not only do they taste delicious, but they’re also packed with micronutrients and they make incredibly photogenic smoothie bowls for Instagram. The best part is that you can prepare one very easily and quickly!
In the photo above, I prepared an açaí bowl with granola, peanut butter, and cacao nibs on top. Here’s the recipe I used:
- 2 packets of açaí
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup cashew/almond/coconut/soy milk
- ¼ granola
- ¼ cup cacao nibs
- 2 tbsp nut butter
Blend the açaí, milk of choice, and bananas in a food processor. Top with anything and everything! I like to occasionally top mine with coconut flakes, hemp seeds, flax seeds, almonds, bananas, blueberries, and more! There are so many variations you can make to change up the flavor!
